Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lou Leonard (ranked 2862 p4p, 2877 weight class) and John Sheppard (ranked 366 p4p, 368 weight class). Lou Leonard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lou Leonard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Sheppard!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheppard takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A swing and a miss from Leonard.
Sheppard misses with a wild body shot.
Leonard throws a jab but it's blocked by Sheppard.
Sheppard throws a body punch but Leonard moves out of range.
Leonard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A jab from Sheppard finds it's way through Leonard's defenses.
Leonard looks to land a combination but Sheppard avoids it well.
Sheppard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leonard manages to avoid it.
Sheppard scores with a hook.
It looks like Lou Leonard has been cut.
Sheppard misses with an uppercut
and Leonard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sheppard misses with a left hand
and Leonard counters with a nice uppercut.
Sheppard scores with a nice head shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sheppard looks to score with a jab to the body but Leonard is just out of range.
Leonard was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sheppard throws a jab when Leonard was well out of range.

Sheppard misses the shot to the body.
Sheppard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sheppard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Leonard counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Leonard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Leonard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sheppard finds it's way round the side to connect with Leonard's head.
Sheppard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sheppard defending well as Leonard loads up on a big left hand.
Sheppard lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Sheppard moves away from the strike by Leonard.
Sheppard now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Sheppard jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Leonard stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Leonard walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Leonard doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Leonard definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leonard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Leonard moves away from the strike by Sheppard.
Sheppard throws a series of punches but Leonard moves out of range.
Leonard throwing a counter right hand but Sheppard manages to avoid it.
Sheppard swings widly with a right hand
and Leonard counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Sheppard stuns Leonard with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Leonard throws a lazy right hand but Sheppard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sheppard lands with a cross.
Nice shot lands for Leonard.
Sheppard misses the shot to the body.
Sheppard throws a sloppy body shot
and Leonard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Leonard missing with a left hand there. Sheppard was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sheppard has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sheppard there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sheppard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leonard circles away quickly and effectively.
Leonard is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Leonard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sheppard.
Sheppard lands an overhand right.
Oooooh!!! Leonard has knocked Sheppard down with a huge combo! Leonard steps away and waves a wobbly Sheppard back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Sheppard is rocked!
A decent looking cross lands there for Leonard.
Sheppard is still on wobbly legs! Can Leonard finish him?
Sheppard bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Leonard comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Sheppard falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Sheppard was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lou Leonard!
A less than humble Lou Leonard misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
