Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cracko Flaco (ranked 4391 p4p, 6009 weight class) and Chao Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chao Wang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chao Wang!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Flaco, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wang dives in for a single leg takedown but Flaco sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Flaco attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Wang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Flaco sprawls well. Flaco wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wang gets slowly back to his feet.
Wang moves out of range of the body kick.

Wang closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Flaco clinches up with Wang and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Cracko Flaco has been cut.

Flaco closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Wang manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Flaco keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Cracko Flaco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chao Wang.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Flaco is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Wang has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Wang has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Flaco is proving hard to escape from.

Wang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Flaco, up you get!

Flaco closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wang quickly recovers to half guard.
Flaco seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wang does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Chao Wang has got the better of the ground game so far.

Flaco decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Flaco moves into range and clinches up with Wang.
Wang wants to stall.
Flaco misses with the head strike.
Flaco misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Wang.

Flaco has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wang is trying to keep an underhook but Flaco manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Wang manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Flaco keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wang will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Flaco up against the cage.
Flaco is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Flaco is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Chao Wang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Flaco gets a double leg takedown into Wang's guard.

Wang is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Flaco presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Wang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Wang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flaco's waist but Flaco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wang off to one side.

Flaco throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wang was covering up waiting for the punch and Flaco finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wang pulls Flaco in close to his closed guard and prevents Flaco from doing any damage or advancing position.

Flaco is stalling here. Wang is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Flaco seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wang has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Wang has control of Flaco's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Flaco regains control of the situation pretty easily.
