The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Leijerweerd.
Leijerweerd lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Leijerweerd lands a front kick.
Leijerweerd misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tou.
Tou is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Leijerweerd cracks Tou with an open hand slap.

Tou bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Tou tries for a kimura but Leijerweerd is defending well.
Tou lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Tou has hold of Leijerweerd's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Leijerweerd tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tou cranks the arm and Leijerweerd screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Leijerweerd, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
