Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Williams (ranked 4716 p4p, 4383 weight class) and Uzochukwu Adebo (ranked 454 p4p, 450 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adebo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Williams's guard.
Adebo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Williams is looking for a triangle but Adebo pushes his legs off easily.

Williams has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Adebo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Williams is on top in guard.

Williams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adebo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williams has managed to get both his arms back between Adebo's legs - danger averted.

Adebo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Adebo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adebo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well.
Adebo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adebo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Adebo pushes Williams off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Adebo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Adebo drops back looking for a leg! Williams is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Williams manages to kick Adebo off! Adebo jumps back into Williams's guard.

Adebo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Adebo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Williams on his heels. He'll look to pass Williams's guard now, I'm sure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adebo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Adebo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Adebo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adebo is working to tighten his grip on Williams's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Williams has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Adebo is really squeezing tight and eventually Williams passes out! Adebo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
