Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rico Cash (ranked 3854 p4p, 3990 weight class) and Willibert Yeong (ranked 126 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rico Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willibert Yeong!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash looks for the body kick but Yeong saw that one coming.
A big left from Cash misses.
Yeong misses with a wild combination.
Yeong circles away from the clinch attempt.

Yeong gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Yeong pulls guard.
Yeong is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Yeong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cash is one step ahead there.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Yeong holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yeong wants to sweep here but Cash controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yeong on the ground.
Yeong pulls Cash in close to prevent any damage.
Cash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yeong is keeping the position for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Yeong pushes Cash up against the cage in a clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Yeong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cash stuffs the takedown attempt from Yeong. Yeong gets slowly back to his feet.
Cash shoots in for a double leg but Yeong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yeong shoots in but no luck this time.
Cash is looking to clinch.

Yeong rushes Cash and presses him up against the cage.

Yeong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cash lands with a nice combination. Yeong backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Willibert Yeong has been cut.

Yeong closes the distance and pushes Cash back into the cage.
Yeong is pressed up against the cage. Cash has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Yeong down to the mat. Yeong avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cash fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rico Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yeong misses with a jab, cross combination.

Nice takedown defense from Yeong. No joy for Cash on that attempt.
Yeong looks to land a combination but Cash avoids it well.
Willibert Yeong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cash changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yeong tries to avoid it but Cash manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yeong to the ground. Yeong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yeong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cash shoots in and drives through. Yeong sprawls well.
Yeong dives in and grabs Cash's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cash pushes down on Yeong's head and hops out.
Cash fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yeong unleashes a big counter combination but Cash bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Yeong closes the distance and clinches.
Cash jumps guard but Yeong stands there with Cash around his waist. Cash gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A bit of stalling here from Yeong.
Yeong wants to get back to striking at distance but Cash won't allow it.

Yeong is looking for a takedown.

Yeong pulls guard successfully.
Yeong lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Yeong is stalling in the full guard.
Cash trying to keep a closed guard but Yeong is proving a slippery customer.
Cash being controlled here, momentarily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cash is looking to clinch.

Yeong drives through and clinches with Cash against the cage.
Yeong tries to score a body lock takedown but Cash shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Yeong decides to pull guard.
Cash missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Yeong has his hands on Cash's head, controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yeong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Yeong passes the guard and advances to mount!
Yeong with a couple of short strikes.

It looks like Rico Cash has been cut.
Cash keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Willibert Yeong has got the better of the ground game so far.

Cash is working hard here to advance position.

Yeong stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Yeong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yeong wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Cash as Yeong shoots in.
Yeong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cash's waist but Cash gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yeong off to one side.
Rico Cash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Willibert Yeong.

Yeong takes the fight into the clinch.
Yeong is trying to drag Cash to the mat but Cash just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Yeong pulls Cash into guard.

Cash trying to control but Yeong is working from the bottom.

Yeong looking for a triangle here. Cash is fighting it but it looks tight! Yeong pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Cash is tapping out - this one is all over!
