The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greene bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Geoffroy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Greene manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Geoffroy manages to get himself to full guard.
Greene postures up and lands a big shot to Geoffroy's brow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Greene wants to control from the top but Geoffroy keeps moving.

That was a close round but I would say that James Greene will probably get the nod.

Greene tries to bum rush Geoffroy with a series of wild strikes but Geoffroy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Greene shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Geoffroy but Geoffroy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
