The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bean tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lawson was well out of range. Poor timing from Bean.
Bean misses with a hook to the body
and Lawson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A telegraphed right hand from Lawson misses the target.
A big right from Bean misses.
Bean gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Lawson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lawson slips a jab and a cross from Bean.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bean looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bean ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Lawson counters with a nice uppercut.
The fighters circling - Bean throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bean misses with a double jab
and Lawson counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Bean out cold! What a finish! Lawson is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

After the fight, Tyler Lawson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
