The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blevins connects with a jab.
Blevins scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Blevins lands with a straight right. McCocker didn't see that one coming.
McCocker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Blevins slips a straight right by McCocker.
Blevins jabs McCocker to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McCocker shoots for a takedown but Blevins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Blevins is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
McCocker misses with a left hand
and Blevins makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
McCocker has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Blevins.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blevins connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

McCocker shoots in and gets a takedown into Blevins's guard.
McCocker wants to pass the guard but Blevins is keeping the position.
Blevins is adopting a defensive guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
