Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDavid with a lazy takedown attempt
and Contra counters with a right hand to the body.
McDavid misses with an uppercut. Contra saw that one coming.
McDavid moves out of range of the strikes.
Contra connects with a jab.
McDavid gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Contra cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Contra misses with a series of wild punches.
McDavid scores with a jab to the jaw.
McDavid doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Contra clinches up with McDavid and pushes him back against the cage.
Contra tries a body shot but McDavid blocks it.
Contra lands with a short head shot on the inside.
McDavid wants a takedown.

McDavid drops down looking for an ankle pick but Contra pulls his leg out and moves away.

McDavid is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
McDavid dives in for a single leg takedown but Contra sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Contra fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McDavid, pushing him back against the cage.
McDavid goes for a takedown attempt but Contra pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Contra smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

McDavid walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
McDavid takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Contra takes the fight into the clinch.
Contra cracks McDavid with a nice body shot.

McDavid has Contra pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Contra manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
