PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Owen Tyler (ranked 4427 p4p, 24620 weight class) and Un Kha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kha is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eye of the tiger. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Owen Tyler !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Un Kha!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler closes the distance and clinches up with Kha, looking for a takedown. Tyler pushes Kha against the cage but Kha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kha wants to counter with a clinch but Tyler pushes him away.
Tyler tries for a takedown but Kha sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kha shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tyler 's guard.
Tyler wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kha manages to pass to side control.

Tyler wants to get back to full guard.

Kha seems to be looking for submissions.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Tyler manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kha controlling from the top position.
Kha pushes down on Tyler 's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kha has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Tyler wants to improve his position but Kha is controlling well.

Kha is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tyler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kha is working away from the top position though.

Kha perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

A less than humble Un Kha misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
