The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliviera tries to close the distance and clinch but Ferreira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oliviera looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Oliviera throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ferreira's head.
Ferreira throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Oliviera tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ferreira swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oliviera needs to keep his hands up - Ferreira had a free shot at his head there.

Ferreira lands a big right hand that sends Oliviera crashing to the mat! Ferreira stays standing though and waves Oliviera back to his feet!

Romulo Ferreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ferreira lands with a big right hook that stumbles Oliviera - he's out on his feet here! Ferreira follows up with another monster hook that separates Oliviera from consciousness! Oliviera falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Ferreira stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
