The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norddahl fails to land the takedown.
We've been hearing reports that Burroughs has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Burroughs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Norddahl can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Burroughs controls the pace.
Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Hilo inform us that Norddahl has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Norddahl controls Burroughs momentarily but Burroughs frees himself.
Burroughs lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Burroughs keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Norddahl's head.
Norddahl can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Burroughs controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burroughs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Burroughs is posturing up here but Norddahl has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Burroughs tries to roll out but it's too tight and Burroughs has to tap! Slick submission there by Norddahl!
