The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hole scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Batt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hole wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hole throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hole has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hole misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Batt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
You can see the frustration on Batt's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hole is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Batt has escaped the position, nice work there.
Hole is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Batt's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hole is trying to get an arm triangle but Batt is defending well.
Hole is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Batt is trying to escape and Hole transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Batt is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hole! Very nice indeed!
