The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Lima fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rolla feints the counter takedown.

Rolla wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lima keeps working.
Rolla is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lima is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Rolla is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Lima has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lima trying to control but Rolla is working from the bottom.

Rolla wants to take Lima's back here but Lima is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Lima tries to hold on but Rolla pushes him away.

Lima tries to reverse the position but Rolla maintains control.
Rolla is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lima to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lima shrugs it off.

I really don't envy Lima right now.
Our spies down at at LéCrucible inform us that Rolla has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Rolla is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Lima has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Rolla has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lima taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Rolla doesn't care though - he's delighted!
