Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kamu Havas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sergey Kolomensky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolomensky throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Havas to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Sergey Kolomensky has been cut.
Kolomensky misses with a left hand
and Havas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Havas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Havas wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Kolomensky throws a lazy right hand but Havas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Havas went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kolomensky rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Havas counters by clinching up.
Come on Havas - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Kolomensky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Havas throws a poor cross that misses
and Kolomensky counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Kamu Havas has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of Havas 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sergey Kolomensky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Havas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kolomensky.
Kolomensky throws a jab but it's blocked by Havas.
Havas throws a big counter combination but Kolomensky scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Havas misses with a few strikes there.
Kolomensky throws an off balance right hand

and Havas counters by moving into the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Havas.
Havas lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Havas makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Havas gets through Kolomensky's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Havas lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Havas breaks the clinch.
Kolomensky throws an off balance right hand

and Havas counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Havas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kolomensky up against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kolomensky jabs Havas right on the nose. Havas blinks but takes it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Havas throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kolomensky stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kolomensky jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A little feinted left hand from Havas on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Havas throws a body shot but no joy.
Havas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kolomensky.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kolomensky! But no joy.
Kolomensky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Havas scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A combination from Havas does no damage.
Havas throws a right hand that misses
and Kolomensky counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kolomensky moves away from the strike by Havas.
Nice uppercut lands for Havas. That snapped Kolomensky's head back.
Havas throws a right hand that Kolomensky ducks under and follows up with a left that Kolomensky also avoids with ease.

and Havas counters by moving into the clinch.

Havas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kolomensky jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Havas blocks a jab.
Havas displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kolomensky throws out the jab.
A counter left hand to the body from Havas misses its target.
Kolomensky lands a head shot.
The fighters circling - Kolomensky throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kolomensky lands an overhand right.

Kamu Havas's cut is getting worse.
Nice straight punches there by Kolomensky. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kolomensky.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kolomensky misses with a looping left.
Havas was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kolomensky throws a hook to the side of Havas's head but Havas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Havas tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kolomensky manages to circle out of the way.
Havas connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

That has opened up Sergey Kolomensky's cut even more.
Kolomensky catches Havas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Havas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Havas moves away from the strike by Kolomensky.
Kolomensky misses with a hook. Havas ducked under it nicely.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kamu Havas dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Havas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kolomensky lands a lovely overhand right.
Havas slips a straight right by Kolomensky.
Kolomensky loads up on a big right hand but Havas slips the punch.
Kolomensky misses with a straight right.
Havas has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Kolomensky doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kolomensky looks to throw the jab but Havas is out of range.

Havas lands a left and a right that send Kolomensky crashing to the mat, dazed. Havas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kolomensky misses with a straight left.
Havas connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kolomensky - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kamu Havas!
