nelson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gonzalez.
Nice takedown defense from Gonzalez. No joy for nelson on that attempt.
nelson stalks Gonzalez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gonzalez's face. Gonzalez staggers backwards, shaken.

nelson shoots for a takedown but Gonzalez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice combo by nelson! Oh, that's hurt him - Gonzalez falls to the canvas and nelson follows him into side control.

nelson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gonzalez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gonzalez is going olschool here, as he tries to force nelson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so nelson shrugs it off.
