The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wright fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luciano avoids it really well and circles away.

Luciano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wright. That did some damage!
Wright on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Wright stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luciano swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Luciano is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Wright has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Wright or perhaps it was just good defense by Luciano, which made it look bad.
Lincoln Wright is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wright tries to land a front kick but Luciano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Luciano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wright moves forwards but Luciano connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Wright walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wright shoots in looking for a takedown but Luciano manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wright's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Luciano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wright. That did some damage!

Wright looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Wright dives in for a single leg takedown but Luciano sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Luciano lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wright backwards.

Luciano connects with a body shot that sends Wright's belly button to the back.

Wright changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luciano tries to avoid it but Wright manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luciano to the ground. Luciano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wright drops his hands momentarily and Luciano takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wright dives in and grabs Luciano's left leg, looking for a takedown. Luciano pushes down on Wright's head and hops out.

Wright is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Luciano lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Luciano slaps away a takedown attempt from Wright, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jose Luciano is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Luciano connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wright's hands.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lincoln Wright was interviewed post fight and said 'Im sorry things didnt go may way, so i will go back to trining harder smarter...next time victory will be mine'.
