Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gago Putangina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Kyrylo!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyrylo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Putangina counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Putangina.
Kyrylo can't find room to land a body shot as Putangina controls the action.
Kyrylo manages to break the clinch.
Kyrylo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Putangina shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kyrylo pinned against the cage. Kyrylo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Putangina changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kyrylo tries to avoid it but Putangina manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kyrylo to the ground. Kyrylo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kyrylo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kyrylo doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Putangina shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kyrylo as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gago Putangina. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Putangina shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kyrylo defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kyrylo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Putangina is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kyrylo misses with a body shot.

Putangina shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kyrylo as he jumps to the side.
Kyrylo lands a right hook to the body.
Putangina tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kyrylo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kyrylo let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Kyrylo digs a good body shot into Putangina's ribs.
Kyrylo misses with a straight right.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Putangina closes the distance and clinches up with Kyrylo, looking for a takedown. Putangina pushes Kyrylo against the cage but Kyrylo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Putangina tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kyrylo counters with a left to the body.
Putangina is breathing heavily.
Kyrylo digs a good body shot into Putangina's ribs.
Kyrylo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kyrylo takes a swing at Putangina's ribcage but misses.
Putangina tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kyrylo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Putangina somewhat.
Jerome Kyrylo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Putangina tries to close the distance and clinch but Kyrylo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kyrylo is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Putangina with a body shot.
Putangina tries to clinch up but Kyrylo circles away and keeps his distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kyrylo. Putangina does a little dance to reset his feet.

Gago Putangina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putangina checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Putangina seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Putangina fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kyrylo takes a swing at Putangina's ribcage but misses.
Kyrylo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Putangina closes the distance and clinches up with Kyrylo, looking for a takedown. Putangina pushes Kyrylo against the cage but Kyrylo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kyrylo! But no joy.

Putangina ducks under a wild hook from Kyrylo.
Putangina shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kyrylo sprawls well. Kyrylo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Putangina gets slowly back to his feet.
Putangina looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kyrylo connects with a jab.
It looks like Gago Putangina has been cut.
Putangina dives in for a single leg takedown but Kyrylo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Putangina.
Kyrylo tries to throw a body punch but Putangina avoids it by throwing Kyrylo back against the cage.
Putangina tries to stall but Kyrylo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kyrylo misses with the head strike.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kyrylo.
Kyrylo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kyrylo pushes Putangina back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A short uppercut from Kyrylo.
Kyrylo works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kyrylo lands a left hand.
Kyrylo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Putangina backwards.
A short uppercut from Kyrylo.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jerome Kyrylo dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Gago Putangina's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kyrylo connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Putangina out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jerome Kyrylo!
Our winner, Jerome Kyrylo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Gago Putangina was interviewed post fight and said 'Don't worry I will be back!!'.
