Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Little Johnny (ranked 4444 p4p, 4648 weight class) and Zavian Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnny has a takedown stuffed.
Barkley is trying to counter with his kicks.

Barkley throws a fast counter high kick but Johnny manages to duck under it in time.
Barkley tries to clinch but Johnny is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnny wants to control but Barkley is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Johnny throwing strikes but Barkley manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Barkley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Johnny, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Johnny on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barkley. Barkley obviously looking to wear him down.

Johnny dives in and grabs Barkley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barkley pushes down on Johnny's head and hops out.
Barkley was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Barkley fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Johnny has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Little Johnny. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barkley misses with an uppercut. Johnny saw that one coming.
Johnny half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Barkley lands with a kick to the temple. Johnny shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Johnny tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Barkley defends well and Johnny ends up having to push Barkley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Barkley works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Barkley lands an elbow inside that Johnny shrugs off.

Barkley tries a body shot but Johnny blocks it.

Barkley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Barkley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnny is aware though and is defending well.

Barkley is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Barkley has his foot on Johnny's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnny works his way back into a safe position though.

Barkley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnny doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnny manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Johnny is posturing up here but Barkley has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Johnny tries to roll out but it's too tight and Johnny has to tap! Slick submission there by Barkley!
