PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Android Sixteen (ranked 5979 p4p, 3832 weight class) and Abd El Kader Mohamed (ranked 536 p4p, 442 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mohamed has closed the distance and engaged Sixteen in a clinch.

Mohamed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sixteen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mohamed has managed to get both his arms back between Sixteen's legs - danger averted.

Mohamed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sixteen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mohamed seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
