Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seve Simmer (ranked 4433 p4p, 6410 weight class) and Tristan Tofan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seve Simmer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tristan Tofan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tristan Tofan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmer throws a jab but it's blocked by Tofan.

Simmer gets caught napping as Tofan dives in and scores a takedown. Simmer manages to retain guard.
Simmer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tofan manages to get himself to full guard.

Simmer throwing strikes from guard but Tofan blocks nicely.
Simmer trying to control the position from guard on top but Tofan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tofan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Simmer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tofan is working an open guard so Simmer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Simmer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tofan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Simmer napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Simmer sneaks out the side door and pushes Tofan away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Simmer tries to close the distance and clinch but Tofan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Simmer cracks Tofan with a right hand to the side of the head.
Simmer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tofan's head backwards.
Simmer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tofan tries to clinch there but Simmer circles away.
Tofan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Simmer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Simmer connects with a right hand. Tofan shakes it off.

Tofan is rocked!
Simmer lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Tofan falls backwards - clearly groggy! Simmer dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
