The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Late doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sven counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Late thinking.
Late ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Little Late seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Late feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Svens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Late showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sven.
Sven slips a jab and a cross from Late.
Late has his takedown stuffed
and Sven counters with a straight right hand.
Late misses with a two punch combination.
Sven scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Late clinches.
Late tries to pull guard but Sven holds him up against the cage and eventually Late drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Little Late. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sven escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Late throws a body punch but Sven moves out of range.
Late digs a good hook to Sven's body.
Sven swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Late closes the distance and clinches.
Sven has Late pressed against the cage, preventing Late from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Late looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Late is trying to force a seperation but Sven has the dominant position.
Late wants to break free but Sven has control.

Sven breaks the clinch.
Late thows a leg kick but Sven checks it
enabling Sven to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice defenses there by Late.
Late went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Sven throws out a powerful jab.
Sven walks into a stiff left hand from Late.
Sven avoids the body shot from Late.
Sven tries to counter with a clinch but Late shakes him off and moves away.
Late throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Late misses with a lunging right hand
and Late takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Late shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sven as he avoids it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

It looks like Little Late has been cut.

Sven lands a big uppercut and Late crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Late looks OK. Sven waves Late back to his feet!

Late ducks into an uppercut from Sven and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
