Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dyragonal Schrek (ranked 4311 p4p, 4014 weight class) and James Clancy (ranked 0 p4p, 514 weight class). Schrek comes to the cage accompanied by Wood Ogre. James Clancy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dyragonal Schrek's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schrek looks to land a combination but Clancy avoids it well.
Schrek shoots in for a takedown but Clancy shows good takedown defense.

Schrek wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Schrek manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Clancy keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Schrek's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Clancy really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Schrek.

Clancy lands a good shot there. Schrek covers up! Clancy smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Schrek to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Clancy jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
