Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Regliant (ranked 3466 p4p, 2521 weight class) and Willy Gilligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Paul Regliant has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Regliant shoots in for a takedown but Gilligan shows good takedown defense.

Gilligan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Regliant on his heels. He'll look to pass Regliant's guard now, I'm sure.

Gilligan has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad The Island. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gilligan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Regliant is looking to cinch up a triangle. Gilligan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Regliant's body to avoid the submission. Regliant has instead reached around Gilligan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Regliant arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
