Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Stawarski (ranked 2057 p4p, 2409 weight class) and Oki Zuki (ranked 233 p4p, 270 weight class). Stawarski comes into the arena with They Don’t Care About Us blaring out of the sound system. Oki Zuki told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stawarski takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Zuki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zuki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stawarski feinted with a counter takedown.
Zuki dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stawarski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zuki scores with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zuki connects with the punch.
Zuki cracks Stawarski with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Stawarski falls to his knees and Zuki doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oki Zuki !
Jumping up and down and very excited, Oki Zuki waved his t-shirt featuring Champion Apparel's logo in front of the cameras.
