Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Peterson (ranked 3432 p4p, 2315 weight class) and Vincent McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson comes into the arena with Berzerk by Eminem blaring out of the sound system. Jake Peterson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson misses with a hook. McGuire ducked under it nicely.
Peterson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
McGuire scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McGuire lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
McGuire comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Peterson is breathing heavily.
Peterson takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Jake Peterson has been cut.
McGuire cracks Peterson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McGuire has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Peterson to stand back up!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGuire lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Peterson head around and knocks him out cold! McGuire hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vincent McGuire!
After winning the bout, Vincent McGuire thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
