The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roper tries to clinch up.
Roper doesn't manage to clinch there - Not Carlos circles away.
Roper is looking to clinch but Not Carlos is avoiding it.

Roper tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Not Carlos just stands there and leans against the cage.

Not Carlos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Roper jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Not Carlos walks away with a smile on his face. Roper gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Not Carlos looks to land a combination. Roper sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Gavin Roper has been cut.
Not Carlos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Not Carlos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roper did well to prevent Not Carlos getting side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Not Carlos is looking to take a break and control but Roper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Roper has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Not Carlos. Oh but Roper has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Not Carlos goes limp - he's gone! Roper jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
