Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blonde Brunson (ranked 746 p4p, 2723 weight class) and Hiroshi Gomi (ranked 54 p4p, 160 weight class). Gomi has chosen The Only Thing The Fear is You- DOOM Eternal OST as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hiroshi Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Gomi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brunson is keen to just control but Gomi is a slippery customer.

Brunson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gomi to score with a decent uppercut.

Brunson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gomi defends well and Brunson ends up having to push Gomi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Brunson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gomi walks away with a smile on his face. Brunson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Gomi walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Brunson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Gomi swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Brunson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
