The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson throws a nice looking combination but Roger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Roger staying out of range there.
Robertson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Roger circles away quickly and effectively.
Robertson scores with a nice head shot.
Roger dodges the punch combination from Robertson.
Jolly Roger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robertson throws a big shot that misses.
Roger looks to land a right hand but Robertson moved out of range.
Robertson lands a two punch combo.
Roger takes a swing at Robertson's ribcage but misses.
Roger works Robertson's body with a nice hook.
Roger getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Ameen Robertson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Roger steps into range and cracks Robertson with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Robertson flops backwards and Roger dives into his guard looking to finish!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Roger postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Robertson covers up, he's hurt! Roger keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Roger and the ref steps in to end the fight! Roger can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
