Drinkwater has chosen Ipswich Town Theme as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drinkwater shoots in and gets a takedown into Salvador's guard.
Drinkwater must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Drinkwater throws a strike but Salvador rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Salvador's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Drinkwater will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Drinkwater controls Salvador momentarily but Salvador frees himself.
Drinkwater is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Salvador is controlling him.
Salvador engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Salvador is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
