Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doka Polo (ranked 5263 p4p, 4348 weight class) and Ammad Ominateu (ranked 0 p4p, 194 weight class). Ominateu has chosen Top G as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Doka Polo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Ominateu shoots in and gets a takedown into Polo's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ominateu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ominateu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ominateu takes a little break here. Polo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Polo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ominateu.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Ammad Ominateu has got the better of the ground game so far.
Let's hope that Ominateu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ominateu scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Polo to see if he's OK.
The referee asks Ominateu politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ominateu prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You can see the frustration on Polo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ominateu just content to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ammad Ominateu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
