Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rian McCoy (ranked 4252 p4p, 4389 weight class) and Ali Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castillo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Castillo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Castillo scores with a kick to the midsection.

Castillo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

McCoy jumps guard and drags Castillo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Castillo tries to stand but McCoy is controlling from the bottom.
McCoy is adopting a defensive guard.
Castillo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McCoy is trying to keep Castillo in close.
Castillo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Castillo wants to get up but he can't break McCoy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

McCoy looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Castillo is defending well. McCoy quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Castillo has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! McCoy celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
