Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Komedor DKasada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diego Nogueira!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. DKasada looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nogueira is looking to take a break and control but DKasada is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DKasada is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Nogueira tries for a kimura but DKasada is defending well.
Nogueira is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but DKasada is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Nogueira tries to move into full mount but can't pass DKasada's legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nogueira advances to full mount.
Nogueira trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Nogueira fails to advance to DKasada's back.

DKasada defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nogueira.
Nogueira jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but DKasada manages to avoid the submission attempt.
DKasada wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
DKasada stops Nogueira from passing to mount.
Nogueira working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
DKasada knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nogueira on the ground.
Nogueira tries to advance to mount but can't.
DKasada definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Nogueira tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Nogueira wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by DKasada, who protects the arm well.
Nogueira works to advance to full mount. DKasada defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Nogueira controlling the pace for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DKasada tries to buck Nogueira off but he can't manage it.
Nogueira swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
