Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Archer (ranked 1875 p4p, 2202 weight class) and Paddy Murphy (ranked 306 p4p, 351 weight class). Murphy has chosen Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya as his entrance music. Paddy Murphy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jonathan Archer's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paddy Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Murphy misses with a head kick.
Archer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Murphy's sensitive parts.
Murphy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Murphy lands with a kick to the temple. Archer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Murphy slips under a jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Archer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Archer cracks Murphy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Some bone on bone action there as Archer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Murphy throws a head kick but Archer moves out of range.
Archer throws a lazy right hand but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Archer avoids the head kick by Murphy.
Murphy tries to clinch there but Archer circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Archer connects with an inside leg kick.
Murphy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Archer throws a series of punches but Murphy moves out of range.
Archer feints and then cracks Murphy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Murphy down.
Archer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Archer shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Archer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Some bone on bone action there as Archer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jonathan Archer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Archer throws a hook to the side of Murphy's head but Murphy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Murphy wants to clinch.

Archer cracks Murphy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Murphy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Archer finish him?

Murphy is rocked!
Archer weaves into range and cracks Murphy right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Murphy goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Archer is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
