Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Johnson (ranked 4313 p4p, 25101 weight class) and Mac Millan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac Millan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jimmy Johnson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mac Millan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millan fails with the takedown

and Johnson moves into the clinch.
Millan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Millan jumps into guard, dragging Johnson to the mat.
Johnson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Millan is retaining full guard.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Millan keeps moving.
Johnson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Johnson is working Millan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Johnson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Millan for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Millan sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Johnson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Millan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Millan sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
