Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tessio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tessio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Liddell pinned against the cage. Liddell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Liddell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Liddell looks to land a combination. Tessio sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A punch combination from Liddell misses.
Liddell scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Liddell gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Liddell breaks the clinch.
Tessio looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Liddell is fending him off so far but Tessio persists. Nope, Liddell circles away and we're back to standing.
Liddell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tessio changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liddell tries to avoid it but Tessio manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liddell to the ground. Liddell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Tessio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tessio will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tessio shoots in for a takedown but Liddell shows good takedown defense.
Tessio takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Liddell lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Tessio is rocked!
Tessio is breathing heavily.
Tessio bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Liddell comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Tessio falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Tessio was out before he hit the floor!
