Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kwok Guo (ranked 5466 p4p, 3579 weight class) and Kumshot Chimaev (ranked 517 p4p, 423 weight class). Kumshot Chimaev has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kwok Guo's chin.

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kumshot Chimaev!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimaev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chimaev throws a nice looking combination but Guo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chimaev defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Guo.
Guo dives in for a single leg takedown but Chimaev sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Chimaev looking to sit in guard and control but Guo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Kwok Guo will probably get the nod.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Guo is looking to clinch but Chimaev is avoiding it.

Kumshot Chimaev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

As Chimaev looks to move away, Guo throws a big counter combo but Chimaev just gets out of the way.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Chimaev goes for a double leg but Guo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Guo continues to drive forward.

Guo gets underhooks to prevent Chimaev's takedown attempt.
