Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tyler Westlake!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoah tries to score a power double leg takedown but Westlake sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yoah somewhat.
Westlake misses with a jab, cross combination.
Westlake throws a series of punches but Yoah avoids them all with ease.
Yoah changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Yoah fails to land the takedown.
Westlake lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Westlake fails to land with a series of punches.
Westlake stuffs the takedown.
Despite the aggression on Westlake's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ooah Yoah. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yoah throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Westlake looks to land a combination but Yoah avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Westlake lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Ooah Yoah has been cut.
Yoah shoots in and drives through. Westlake sprawls well.

Westlake scores with a one two! Yoah had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Yoah goes for a double leg but Westlake avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Westlake continues to drive forward.
As Yoah backs off Westlake throws a huge counter combo but Yoah manages to avoid it all.
Yoah wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Yoah has Westlake pressed against the cage.
Yoah's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Yoah seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Yoah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Westlake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Westlake wants it to stay on the feet.
Yoah fails with a takedown attempt.
Westlake circles away from the clinch attempt.
Westlake blocks a head kick by Yoah.

Yoah shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Westlake has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Yoah is on him like a limpet, forcing Westlake back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Westlake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Yoah showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Westlake.
Horrible takedown attempt by Yoah or perhaps it was just good defense by Westlake, which made it look bad.
Westlake misses with a series of wild punches.
Yoah feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Yoah doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Westlake counters with a two punch combo.

Yoah shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yoah is breathing heavily.
Westlake looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yoah is one step ahead there.
Westlake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yoah. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Westlake is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Yoah passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Westlake pushes Yoah away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Yoah gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Westlake is holding Yoah down, trying to stall.
Yoah tries to stand but Westlake is controlling his head.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Yoah working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Westlake dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ooah Yoah's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Westlake tries to bum rush Yoah with a series of wild strikes but Yoah uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A nice combination there by Westlake.
Westlake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Westlake fails to land with a series of punches.

Yoah moves into the clinch.
Yoah drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Westlake gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Westlake wants to get back to striking at distance but Yoah won't allow it.

Westlake kicks Yoah off and gets back to his feet.
Westlake throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Westlake gets caught napping as Yoah dives in and scores a takedown. Westlake manages to retain guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Westlake is trying to keep Yoah in close.
Westlake can't keep his opponent in guard - Yoah advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Yoah is working for a kimura but Westlake is defending it quite comfortably.

Yoah is thwarting Westlake's attempts to control the position.
Westlake might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yoah haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Yoah has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Westlake defend it? Yoah steps over the head and cranks it - Westlake is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Yoah!
