The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gianni throws a combination that misses
and Chimaev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gianni connects with a crisp jab.
Gianni throws a hook but Chimaev blocks it.
Gianni goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Khamzat Chimaev has been cut.
Chimaev slips a straight right by Gianni.

A jab from Gianni finds it's way through Chimaev's defenses.

Chimaev is rocked!
Chimaev is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Gianni doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Chimaev crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Chimaev's bad books for that mishap!
