Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Nastula (ranked 23799 p4p, 2673 weight class) and Joseph OByrne (ranked 0 p4p, 312 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 52 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joseph OByrne!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastula with a poor takedown
and OByrne counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
OByrne lunges at Nastula with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nastula's hand.
Nastula throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and OByrne counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
OByrne lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nastula is rocked!
OByrne stuns Nastula with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nastula misses with a takedown
and OByrne counters with a nice right hand that sends Nastula toppling to the canvas! Nastula scrambles and gets back to his feet - can OByrne finish him?!
Oh Nastula is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
OByrne finds Nastula's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Nastula flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. OByrne lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Nastula will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joseph OByrne!
After winning the bout, Joseph OByrne thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
