The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDonald decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenkins wants to control but McDonald is keeping busy.
McDonald tries to pass to full mount but Jenkins defends it.

McDonald is working for a submission of some sort.
Jenkins manages to get to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McDonald postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jenkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McDonald, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jenkins won't allow McDonald to sweep him here.
McDonald is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

McDonald drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jenkins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McDonald has Jenkins in his guard.

Jenkins got a little sloppy there for a moment and McDonald has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jenkins has managed to get both his arms back between McDonald's legs - danger averted.
Jenkins wants to pass the guard but McDonald is keeping the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Ronald McDonald will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jenkins scores with a hook to the body. McDonald takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Nice uppercut lands for Jenkins. That snapped McDonald's head back.
McDonald swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Jenkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McDonald is working away from the top position though.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

McDonald bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

McDonald takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jenkins is bucking up trying to escape but McDonald cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McDonald is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McDonald is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jenkins is just riding it out for now. McDonald eventually gives up the hold.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McDonald connects with a nice short shot to Jenkins's temple.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McDonald, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
