Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kile Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and J Haffie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haffie has chosen Showtek- World is mine. as his entrance music. Kile Kelly has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haffie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Haffie fails to land the takedown.
Haffie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kelly but Kelly pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kile Kelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of J Haffie.
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch but Haffie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Haffie shoots in looking for a takedown. Kelly tries to sprawl out of it but Haffie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kelly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Haffie shoots for a double leg takedown but Kelly sprawls well. He's pushed Haffie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Haffie looks gassed!
Kelly is looking to clinch.
Haffie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kelly shoots in but Haffie avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kelly sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Haffie to the ground! Kelly dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like J Haffie has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haffie is squirming around, avoiding Kelly's attempts to control the action.
Haffie is still in real trouble! Can Kelly finish him?

Haffie tries to hold on but Kelly pushes him away.
Haffie seems to have recovered his senses.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Haffie is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kelly wants to control the pace but Haffie is squirming around nicely.

Kelly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haffie on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kile Kelly just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Haffie tries for a takedown but Kelly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Haffie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Haffie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Haffie prevents Kelly from getting the reversal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haffie controlling from the full mount.
Kelly is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Haffie controlling the pace for now.
Kelly is desperately trying to improve his position but Haffie has a good base and remains in mount.
Haffie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Haffie thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Haffie trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kelly tries to hold on but Haffie pushes him away.
Haffie controlling his opponent.
Haffie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kelly is looking to escape.
Haffie avoids the attempt from Kelly to control.
Kelly is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Haffie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kelly wants to hold on but Haffie pushes him away.
Haffie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Despite being in the dominant position, J Haffie just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Haffie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Haffie tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kelly's legs.
Kelly is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Haffie asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kelly trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Kelly is looking for a sweep.
Haffie controls the position from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kile Kelly will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on J Haffie's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Haffie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch but Haffie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kelly displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
J Haffie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haffie shoots for a double leg takedown but Kelly sprawls well. He's pushed Haffie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Haffie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Haffie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Haffie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kelly - the referee stops the clock and Haffie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kelly. Haffie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kelly's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kelly duly obliges.
Kelly doesn't manage to clinch there - Haffie circles away.
Kelly fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kelly circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Haffie drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kelly follows Haffie to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
