Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fredrico Schmico (ranked 2040 p4p, 1897 weight class) and Paulius Zurauskas (ranked 218 p4p, 209 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fredrico Schmico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Paulius Zurauskas!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmico wants to clinch
and Zurauskas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zurauskas digs a good hook to Schmico's body.

Schmico clinches with his opponent.
Zurauskas lands a left hand that snaps the head of Schmico backwards.
Zurauskas is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Schmico is pushing Zurauskas up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Schmico drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Zurauskas gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Schmico is trying to force a seperation but Zurauskas has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schmico's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A head punch on the inside from Zurauskas fails to land.

Zurauskas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sloppy strikes from Schmico. Those never looked like landing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Schmico tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zurauskas defends well and Schmico ends up having to push Zurauskas into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fredrico Schmico. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zurauskas misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Zurauskas gets control of Schmico's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zurauskas will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Zurauskas is looking for a triangle here but Schmico uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Zurauskas can't do much from the bottom here.
Zurauskas manages to get back to half guard.

Zurauskas has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Schmico. Oh but Zurauskas has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Schmico goes limp - he's gone! Zurauskas jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
