Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Time To Fight Wright (ranked 1764 p4p, 1939 weight class) and Andre Hackl (ranked 232 p4p, 245 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Hackl!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Chris Dean and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hackl.
Hackl needs to keep his hands up - Wright had a free shot at his head there.
Time To Fight Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hackl misses with a hook
and Wright counters with a nice uppercut.

Hackl looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Wright closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hackl circles away.

Wright stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wright, as that shot connected.

Hackl throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Hackl counters with a straight right hand.

Wright thuds a left hand into Hackl's body.
The fighters circling - Wright throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hackl misses with a hook. Wright ducked under it nicely.
Wright feints a jab promting Hackl to slip. Wright then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hackl slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wright shoots for a double leg takedown but Hackl sprawls well. He's pushed Wright's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Time To Fight Wright. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wright shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hackl manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hackl wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wright manages to pass to side control.
Wright is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hackl can do to turn this around?

That was a close second round but I would say that Time To Fight Wright will probably get the nod.
