Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ki Dausz (ranked 2979 p4p, 6286 weight class) and Nikos Balopoulos (ranked 343 p4p, 502 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dausz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Trio Libel's : Gadisku. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ki Dausz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikos Balopoulos!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dausz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Balopoulos.
Balopoulos rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dausz counters with a low kick, right behind Balopoulos 's knee.
Balopoulos misses with a combination
and Dausz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dausz wants to clinch up but Balopoulos keeps it at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Balopoulos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Balopoulos is working Dausz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Dausz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dausz tries to get out of the position.

Balopoulos is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Balopoulos postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Dausz covers up, he's hurt! Balopoulos keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Balopoulos and the ref steps in to end the fight! Balopoulos can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikos Balopoulos!
Nikos Balopoulos really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fantasy Threads (Laundry 15%) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
