Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ja Maica (ranked 4202 p4p, 4298 weight class) and Gunna Tello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Tello has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Maica uses from the top position.

Tello has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Maica is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tello.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Maica lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tello has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tello and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Tello drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tello jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tello is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Maica is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Maica has escaped and now he's on top!

Tello will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ja Maica.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maica, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
