Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Wassa Tayu (ranked 22223 p4p, 22062 weight class) and Piger Whok (ranked 453 p4p, 454 weight class). Whok has chosen King of Kings - Motorhead as his entrance music. Wassa Tayu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whok misses with the body kick
and Tayu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Whok lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tayu backs up against the ropes.
Tayu throws a hook to the side of Whok's head but Whok sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tayu swings for the body but Whok moves out of range.

No joy there for Whok, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Whok has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tayu finds it's way round the side to connect with Whok's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tayu connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Whok onto his butt! Whok bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Whok walks into a big right hand from Tayu and goes down! The referee sends Tayu to a neutral corner as Whok gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
A nice leg kick lands there from Whok.
Tayu scores with a big combo that sends Whok crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Whok flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Tayu jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
