Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Santana Garcia (ranked 25219 p4p, 25065 weight class) and Alkandros Vasilios (ranked 441 p4p, 421 weight class). Garcia comes into the arena with Mexican Americans blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carlos Santana Garcia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alkandros Vasilios!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilios gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Alkandros Vasilios has been cut.
Garcia moves into the clinch successfully.
Garcia scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A head punch on the inside from Vasilios fails to land.
Garcia misses with a punch on the inside.
Garcia pushes Vasilios back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Vasilios has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Garcia uses from the top position.
Vasilios pulls Garcia in close to prevent any damage.
Garcia definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vasilios had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Garcia defends it easily.
Garcia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vasilios has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Garcia has managed to get both his arms back between Vasilios's legs - danger averted.

Garcia is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Vasilios has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Garcia is looking to defend but Vasilios has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Garcia! Vasilios pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Garcia taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Alkandros Vasilios!
Our winner, Alkandros Vasilios, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
