Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kwaku Uba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista scores with a hook to the body. Uba takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Batista scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Batista throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Uba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Batista misses with a two punch combination.
Batista lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Uba backs up against the cage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Batista. That's going to slow Uba down.
Uba fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Batista avoids it really well and circles away.
Batista lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Uba at a distance.
Nice jab there from Batista.
Uba has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Uba there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Uba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Batista scores with a nice right hand.
Batista throws a series of punches but Uba moves out of range.

Batista digs a good hook to Uba's body.
Batista misses with a double jab.
Batista fails to land with a series of punches.
Uba shoots for a takedown but Batista saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Batista is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Uba rather than just go for the knockout.
Uba takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Joao Batista seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Uba shoots for a double leg takedown but Batista sprawls well. He's pushed Uba's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kwaku Uba. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Uba blocks a head kick by Batista.
Uba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Batista's waist but Batista gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Uba off to one side.
Uba is breathing heavily.
Batista buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Batista throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Uba on the side of the head.

Batista digs a good body shot into Uba's ribs.
Batista scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Batista throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Batista's corner calls for a 1-2. Batista obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Uba walks into a stiff left hand from Batista.
Batista moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Uba is rocked!

Batista lands with a nice combination. Uba backs away looking to recover.
Oh Uba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Uba needs to keep his hands up - Batista had a free shot at his head there.
Batista throws an overhand right that drops Uba like a sack of potatoes! Batista dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
