The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferreira thuds his right hand into Kinsella's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That was a close round but I would say that Wade Kinsella will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ferreira throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ferreira misses with a straight left.
Kinsella swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A low kick lands for Kinsella.
Ferreira throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kinsella on the side of the head.
Ferreira missing with a left hand there. Kinsella was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kinsella lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kinsella.
Ferreira might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Ferreira throws the left hand but Kinsella avoids the punch easily.
A little feinted left hand from Kinsella on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kinsella dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ferreira. That did some damage!

Ferreira goes for a double leg but Kinsella avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kinsella continues to drive forward.
Kinsella jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Kinsella scores with a head kick. Ferreira tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Ferreira is rocked!
Ferreira throws a wild hook but Kinsella just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Ferreira gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Kinsella raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
